Bucking Bronco
A bucking bronco was originally
cowboy slang for a horse that jumps about with stiffened knees and
an arched back. However, mechanical versions are now used as
amusement rides. For example: In Bertrand Island Amusement Park (in
Bertrand Island, New Jersey), a mechanical bucking bronco ride was
introduced in the 1930s, under the name of "Ride 'Em Cowboy!". |

Cabin
In modern usage, a cottage is a
dwelling, typically in a rural, or semi-rural location (although
there are cottage-style dwellings in cities). In the UK, the term
cottage tends to denote a rurally - (sometimes village-) located one
and a half storey property, where on the second (upstairs floor) one
has to walk into the eaves in order to look through the windows,
which are generally located in dormers (the sort of dwelling that
some Americans call a Cape Cod).

Cowboy Hat Horse Boot
The cowboy hat is a defining piece of
attire for farm and ranch workers in the western United States,
Canada and northern Mexico, for country-western singers, and for
athletes in the North American rodeo circuit. It is recognized
around the world as part of Old West cowboy lore. |
 Horse
The horse (Equus caballus) is a large
odd-toed ungulate mammal, one of ten living species of the family
Equidae. For centuries horses have been one of the most
economically important domesticated animals, especially relied upon
for farm work and for transportation. Their importance declined
following the introduction of mechanization. The history of the
horse is prominent in religion, mythology, art, transportation,
agriculture, and warfare. |

 Muskets
A musket is a muzzle-loaded,
smoothbore long gun, which is intended to be fired from the
shoulder. The date of origin of muskets remains unknown, but they
are mentioned in Chinese military books such as Huo Long Jing as
early as the late 14th century. Muskets were primarily designed for
use by infantry. Improved with the introduction of rifling around
1800, muzzle loading rifled muskets (of the kind common during the
Crimean War) became obsolete by the late 19th century. |
 Stallion
A stallion is a male horse that has
not been castrated.
Stallions will follow the conformation and phenotype of their breed,
but within that standard, the presence of hormones such as
testosterone may give stallions a thicker, "cresty" neck as well as
a somewhat more muscular physique as compared to female horses,
known as mares, and castrated males, called geldings.

Steam Train
A steam locomotive is a
locomotive powered by steam. The term usually refers to its
use on railways, but can also refer to a "road locomotive"
such as a traction engine or steamroller.
Steam locomotives dominated rail traction from the mid 19th
century until the mid 20th century, after which they were
superseded by diesel and electric locomotives. |
