 Bass
Modern bass fishing has evolved into a
multi-billion dollar industry. The sport has changed drastically since
its beginnings in the late 1800s. From humble beginnings, the black bass
has become the second most specifically sought-after game fish in the
United States. The sport has driven the development of all manner of
fishing gear, including rods, reels, lines, lures, electronic depth and
fish-finding instruments, drift boats, float tubes, and specialized bass
boats. | |
 Beach
Palms are one of the most well-known and
extensively cultivated plant families. They have had an important role
to humans throughout much of history. Many common products and foods are
derived from palms, and palms are also widely used in landscaping for
their exotic appearance making them one of the most economically
important plants. In many historical cultures, palms were symbols for
such ideas as victory, peace, and fertility. |
 Dolphins
Dolphins are marine mammals that are
closely related to whales and porpoises. There are almost forty species
of dolphin in seventeen genera. They vary in size from 1.2 metres (4 ft)
and 40 kilograms (88 lb) (Maui's Dolphin), up to 9.5 m (30 ft) and ten
tonnes (the Orca or Killer Whale). They are found worldwide, mostly in
the shallower seas of the continental shelves, and are carnivores,
mostly eating fish and squid.

 Lighthouse
A lighthouse is a tower, building or,
framework designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses
or, in older times, from a fire and used as an aid to navigation and
to pilots at sea. Lighthouses are used to mark dangerous coastlines,
hazardous shoals, safe entries to harbors and can also assist in
aerial navigation. Once widely used, the number of operational
lighthouses has declined due to replacement by modern electronic
navigational aids. | |
 Lobster
Though several different groups of
crustaceans are known as "lobsters," the clawed lobsters are most
often associated with the name. Clawed lobsters are not closely
related with spiny lobsters or slipper lobsters, which have no claws
(chelae), or squat lobsters. The closest relatives of clawed
lobsters are the reef lobster Enoplometopus and the three families
of freshwater crayfish. |
 Trout
Trout is the common name given to a
number of species of freshwater fish belonging to the Salmonidae
family. All fish called trout are members of the subfamily
Salmoninae. The name is commonly used for species in three of the
seven genera in the sub-family: Salmo, Atlantic species; Salvelinus,
which includes fish also sometimes called char or charr. |
 Turtle
Turtles are reptiles of the Order
Testudines (all living turtles belong to the crown group Chelonia),
most of whose body is shielded by a special bony or cartilaginous
shell developed from their ribs. The Order Testudines includes both
extant (living) and extinct species. The earliest known turtles date
from 215 million years ago,[1] making turtles one of the oldest
reptile groups and a more ancient group than lizards and snakes.
About 300 species are alive today, and some are highly endangered. |

 Yellow Fin or Lake Trout
The yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares), is a type of tuna eaten by
humans as food. It is found in open waters of tropical and
subtropical seas worldwide. It is an epipelagic fish ranging in the
top 100 m (330 feet) of the water column. It has been reported to be
up to 239 cm (94 inches) in length and 200 kg (440 lb) in weight.
The fish is also known as ahi tuna, after the Hawaiian word for
"fire", due to the smoke from their fishing ropes rubbing violently
on the gunwales of their wooden canoes while pulling the fish in.
