 Angel
An angel is a supernatural being
found in many religions. Although the nature of angels and the tasks
given to them vary from tradition to tradition, in Christianity,
Judaism and Islam, they typically act as messengers from God. Other
roles in religious traditions include acting as warrior or guard;
the concept of a "guardian angel" is popular in modern Western
culture. |

Ankh
The ankh (symbol) was the Egyptian
hieroglyphic character that read "life". Egyptian gods are often
portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms
crossed over their chest. It is also known as the Egyptian Cross,
the key of life, the key of the Nile, or as crux ansata, Latin for
"cross with a handle". |

Celtic
Celts is a modern term used to
describe any of the European peoples who spoke, or speak, a Celtic
language. The term is also used in a wider sense to describe the
modern descendants of those peoples, notably those who participate
in a Celtic culture.
The historical Celts were a diverse group of tribal societies in
Iron Age Europe. Proto-Celtic culture formed in the Early Iron Age
in Central Europe (Hallstatt period). |
 Cross
& Fish
Ichthys - Among the symbols employed
by the early Christians, that of the fish seems to have ranked first
in importance. Indeed, from monumental sources such as tombs we know
that the symbolic fish was familiar to Christians from the earliest
times. It can be seen in such Roman monuments as the Capella Greca
and the Sacrament Chapels of the catacomb of St Callistus. The fish
was depicted as a Christian symbol in the first decades of the
second century. |

Irish I Had
Shamrock
According to legend, each leaflet
represents something: the first is for hope, the second is for
faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck. Legend
also holds that if a lady hangs a four-leaf clover on her door, the
next man to come in will become her husband. |

Nefertiti
Nefertiti (c. 1370 BC - c. 1330 BC) was the Great Royal Wife (or
chief consort/wife) of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. She was the
mother-in-law and probable stepmother of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun.
Nefertiti may have also ruled as pharaoh in her own right under the
name Neferneferuaten briefly after her husband's death and before
the accession of Tutankhamun, although this identification is called
into doubt by the latest research. Her name roughly translates to
"the beautiful (or perfect) one has arrived".

Star of David
The Star of David or Shield of David
(Magen David in Hebrew, מָגֵן דָּוִד with nikkud or מגן דוד without,
academically transcribed by Biblical Hebrew linguists, pronounced in
Modern Hebrew and Mogein Dovid or Mogen Dovid in Ashkenazi Hebrew
and Yiddish is a generally recognized symbol of Jewish identity and
Judaism. It is named after King David of ancient Israel; and its
earliest known communal usage began in the Middle Ages, alongside
the more ancient symbol of the menorah. Geometrically it is the
hexagram.
